Hudson Hospital & Clinic are recipient of governor's award
The Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts has announced the 2009 recipients of the Governor's Awards in Support of the Arts and among the winners is Hudson Hospital & Clinics. Gov. James and First Lady Jessica Doyle will host a ceremony at the Executive Residence in Madison Thursday, October 22 at 5:30 p.m. to present the Awards.
Hudson Hospital & Clinics is being recognized in the "Corporate/Business" category. Marian Furlong is president and chief executive officer of the hospital.
The Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts is sponsoring the annual event, with sponsorship from WE Energies, Milwaukee.
Hudson Hospital & Clinics is recognized for its Healing Arts program, a collaboration with The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson. The program's mission is to bring the creative and visual arts to patients, guests and staff to welcome diversion from oftentimes challenging health experiences.
