Hudson man charged with sex assault
A Hudson man has been charged in St. Croix County Circuit Court with four felony counts in connection with the investigation of a sexual assault incident after a private party.
Dustan C. Warren, 27, 1007 Lincoln Lane, Hudson, was ordered to post $100,000 cash bail Dec. 1 on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault, aggravated battery, false imprisonment and reckless endangerment.
The criminal complaint alleged on Nov. 27, Warren assaulted a 35-year-old woman, threatened her with a knife and attempted to have sex with her against her will after a party at her Hudson residence.
Warren told investigators he wasn't at the party but was inebriated and lost in the woods near Bayport, Minn., when the incident occurred, the complaint said.
A preliminary hearing was set for Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. before Judge Edward F. Vlack.
