Hudson man killed in crash on I-94/Radio Dr.
The State Patrol identified the 47-year old Hudson man who was killed in a rear-end crash on I-94 and Radio Drive just after midnight Friday.
According to witnesses and state patrol reports the accident occurred at 12:10 a.m. when the driver of a 1993 Ford Escort rear-ended a semi truck that had stopped on the right shoulder of eastbound I-94 near the Radio Drive/County Road 13 exit.
Witnesses said the Escort, driven by Michael Gartmann, 47, Hudson, slid under the trailer of the semi.
State Patrol officers and Woodbury Public Safety responded to the scene, which caused a backup of traffic heading east on I-94, witnesses said.
