HUDSON SCHOOL DISTRICT: 4/15/09 Special Board of Education Meeting Minutes

OPEN SESSION

1. The Special Meeting of the Hudson Board of Education was called to order by President Tjornehoj at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room of the Administrative Service Center. Members present: Brian Bell, Cindy Crimmins, Tom Holland, Mark Kaisersatt, Lynn Robson, Daniel Tjornehoj, and Barbara Van Loenen. Also in attendance. Superintendent Mary Bowen-Eggebraaten.

2. Bell moved, with second by Van Loenen to approve the agenda. Motion passed on a voice vote.

3. Superintendent Bowen-Eggebraaten reviewed the 2007-08 and 2008-09 District goal progress report.

4. Superintendent Bowen-Eggebraaten presented the 2009-10 District goal recommendations.

5. Kaisersatt moved, with second by Robson, to adjourn to Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85 (1)(c) for the purpose of considering employment and contract extension, compensation, and performance evaluation of the Superintendent; employment and contract extension of the District Deputy Director, Financial Services Director, Learning Services Director, and Associate Learning Services Director. On a roll call vote, the Clerk recorded the following: Bell-yes, Crimmins-yes, Holland-yes, Kaisersatt-yes, Robson-yes, Tjornehoj-yes, Van Loenen-yes. Motion passed 7-0.

CLOSED SESSION

The Board considered employment and contract extension, compensation, and performance evaluation of the Superintendent; employment and contract extensions for the District Deputy Director, Financial Services Director, Learning Director, and Associate Learning Services Director.

6. Crimmins moved, with second by Robson, to reconvene to Open Session. Motion passed on a voice vote.

OPEN SESSION

7a.-e. Crimmins moved, with second by Robson, to approve the contract addendums for the Superintendent, District Deputy Director, Financial Services Director, Learning Services Director, and Associate Learning Services Director. Motion passed on a voice vote.

8. Kaisersatt moved, with second by Crimmins, to adjourn. Motion passed on a voice vote.
