Hudson seminar set for early childhood educators

A day-long conference for early childhood teachers is scheduled in Hudson from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Bethel Highlands Church/Preschool, 504 Frontage Road, during NWEA break.

Hudson educators (preschool teachers, center and home daycare providers, early childhood teachers, paraprofessionals and anyone working with young children) are invited to attend. Sessions include information on autism spectrum disorders, behavior management, Brain Gym, integrating music, and make and take strategies, with a keynote address by Su Wahl of the Healing Arts and Wellness Center.

Participants will receive six CEUs toward their continuing education requirements.

A small group of Hudson early childhood educators and directors have been meeting monthly over the last year to plan this inservice. Registration is $25 for the day and includes a box lunch from Hudson Bagel Co.
