Hudson teachers to get 6.86 % raise

The teachers in the Hudson School District will get a 6.86 percent increase in wages and benefits for the 2010-11 school year.

The new contract was approved at Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting by a vote of 4-2. Board members who voted in favor of the new deal were president Barb Van Loenen, and board members Dan Tjornehoj, Pat German and Lynn Robson. Brian Bell and Mark Kaisersatt voted no. Tom Holland was not at the meeting.
