Hudson Volleyball Association holds summer volleyball camp

The Hudson Volleyball Association (Croix Attack) is holding a summer volleyball camp Monday through Thursday, July 9-12, for girls and boys entering fifth through eighth grades.

Session 1, held Monday through Thursday, July 9-12, for girls and boys entering fifth and sixth grades, will be at the Hudson High School east gym from 9 a.m.-noon. Participants should arrive Monday at 8:30 a.m. This camp is for beginner players. Campers will be introduced to the game of volleyball and taught the proper skills for a solid foundation. Cost is $70 for the four-day session.

Session 2, held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, July 9, 10 and 12, is for girls and boys entering the seventh or eighth grade. The sessions will be held at the HHS east gym on Monday and the west gym on Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions are from 5-9 p.m. Players should arrive on Monday at 4:30 p.m. Campers will be introduced to more advanced skills and learn offensive and defensive strategies. Players will be allowed to begin specialist training (hitting, setting and passing). Cost is $90 for the three-day session.
