Family, friends and fans of the late Karen Drewiske gathered at the Hudson Civic Center Sunday afternoon as the Hudson Hockey Association hosted a celebration to rename its Raider Arena, “Karen Drewiske Memorial Arena.”

Drewiske, who died Feb. 19 after a courageous battle with cancer, was known as Hudson’s Hockey Mom, and was active with the Hudson Hockey Association, as well as the Benchwarmer’s Club, Raider Boosters Club and many other civic organizations.
