Jean Pearson, 77
Jean Marie Pearson, age 77, of Hudson, Wis.: Our beautiful mother, loyal friend, wonderful wife, and loving grandmother went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, Aug. 25, surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born on Dec. 18, 1935, in St. Cloud, Minn., the daughter of Bernard and Helen (Kiffmeyer) Eveslage. She was raised in St. Cloud, attending St. Mary's Cathedral prior to graduating from Cathedral High School. She would further her education at St. Mary's in Rochester where she became a nurse. On May 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to Richard Pearson at the Cathedral in St. Cloud. This union would be blessed with eight children; Cindy, Rick, Ron, Connie, Lynn, Mary, Mike, and Becky. She worked as a nurse for Anchor Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., until she started her family, which became her number one priority.
A gentle soul with a heart of gold, her life was filled with love and compassion for others. She was a friend to all and made each person she met feel special. She was the first to fix a problem and the last to take the credit. She loved her family, God, music, prayer, cards, stormy nights, crossword puzzles, cooking, gardening, and serving her family. Never a complainer, always a healer. Her sunny disposition would light up a room. Her family was first and foremost and she was The Matriarch. The way she lived her life was an inspiration to all...
She is survived by her husband, Richard; children Cindy Pearson of Maplewood, Rick (Anne) Pearson of Lake Elmo, Ron (Sherry) Pearson of Roberts, Connie Pearson of St. Cloud, Mary (Tom) Hawksford of Hudson, Mike (Kathy) Pearson of Lake Elmo, Becky (Jon) Dostal of Hudson; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings Donna Morey of St. Cloud, Robert Eveslage of St. Cloud, Patricia Lynch of Iowa, Judith Repulski of Sauk Rapids, and many dear friends.
