Jeanne Louise Johannsen, 57

Jeanne Louise Johannsen (Weicherding), age 57, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2008. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She was born the daughter of James E. & Inez Corrine (Follansbee) Miller on July 27, 1950 in Amery, Wis.

Jeanne graduated in 1968 from Hudson High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

She married John Weicherding and they were blessed with two sons, Tom and Dan. She was a homemaker extraordinaire!

John preceded her in death, but she found love again with Alfred Johannsen. Al and Jeanne were members of MSRA and attended many car shows.

She loved her grandbabies, spending time at the cabin on Little Wood Lake, and the Green Bay Packers.

Jeanne had been employed as a receptionist at HSI in Stillwater.

In addition to her first husband, she was also preceded in death by her father. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Al; sons, Tom (Kym) Weicherding and Dan (Angi) Weicherding; step-children, Matt (Megan) Johannsen and Anna Johannsen (Paul Johnson); grandchildren, John, Brennan, Morganne, McKenna, Zax, Matthew, Darrell John and Addison; mother, Connie Fellay; brother, Mike (Kathy) Miller; sister, Barb (Greg) Breault; and many more relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. A funeral service for Jeanne will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1205 Sixth St., Hudson. Interment will follow in Willow River Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church and on Wednesday, June 18, from 4-8 p.m. at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, 715-386-3725.
