Jessie Marie (Lundeen) Cramer, 91, started her journey to the Lord Monday, April 28, at the University of Minnesota Hospital after a short illness.
Jessie was born Nov. 17, 1916, in Regent, N.D., to Edward and Nellie Lundeen. They moved to Hudson when Jessie was 3 and she remained in Hudson until her death.
She graduated from Hudson High School in 1933 and worked at the New Brighton Arsenal and West Publishing. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She married Willis Cramer of Hudson on May 24, 1941.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Nancy; parents; brother, Robert Lundeen; sisters, Peggie Anderson and Eleanor Conley.
She is survived by three children, daughter, Mary Jill King, married to David King, Coon Rapids, Minn., sons, Robert Cramer, married to Nancy Cudd, Hudson, and Richard Cramer, married to Crystel Drinkwine, Hudson; nine grandchildren, Heather Greenwald, Leslie Coffey, Holly Anderson, Andrea King, Andrew Cramer, Abby Cramer, Erinn Cramer, Jessie Cramer and Zachary Cramer; nine great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Grace Greenwald, Lauren and Lilly Coffey, Jonah, Flynn, Culley and Shelby Anderson and Owen Miller; and nieces, Holly and Candy.
She will be missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jessie was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday, and Thursday, May 1, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
