Johnson sentenced on cocaine charge

A former Hudson businessman was sentenced on a felony drug charge in St. Croix County Circuit Court Monday.

Jeffrey T. Johnson, 45, Eau Claire, was ordered to serve 60 days in jail, three year's probation, and fined $124 on a possession of cocaine with intent to deliver conviction.

Felony charges of second-degree sex assault of a child and delivery of cocaine were dropped.

The charges against Johnson were filed following party that stated late Aug. 3, 2007 at a Hudson residence and continued through to the morning of Aug. 4. The criminal complaint said Johnson, who had an interest in the Twisted Grille downtown, brought cocaine to the party.
