Through the (JA) program, Knutson has been teaching students about entrepreneurship and how entrepreneurs use resources to produce goods and services in a region.

For their final lesson, Knutson invited the students to visit the company he co-owns with JW Matheson, Catalyst Sports. Students toured the facilities, learned a little about sports medicine and physical therapy. They also had their last JA lesson, received JA graduation certificates, and some Catalyst sports bags.
