Kent Wolff, former owner of Village Inn, dies at 67

The former owner of the Village Inn in North Hudson, Kent R. Wolff, 67, of Hudson died Sunday at his home. He had been battling cancer.


Wolff purchased what became the Village Inn in August 1982 from Terry and Crystal Sockness. At that time the business was called Sock’s Saloon, but it had other names over the years including The Big Orange and Len’s.

Wolff sold the business to Leigh and Diane Halvorsen in September 2005.
