Knights install new leader
The Knights of Columbus, St. Croix Council 1762 passed the gavel and the reins of the organization on July 1 from Paul Krenik to John Knutson. The council meets monthly at the KC Council Chambers in the basement of St. Patrick Church the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. According to incoming Grand Knight, John Knutson, "I have big shoes to fill. Under the leadership of Paul Krenik, our Council has won the State Deputy Trophy two years in a row. That trophy acknowledged our KC Council as the "Best of the Best" for the largest councils in the State of Wisconsin, which is quite a feat to win it once, much less two years in a row. It does show how active our Council is within our parish, in our community and beyond. I am very humbled and proud to be able to lead this great service organization for the next two years."
