MADISON - Hudson High School wrestler Nick Larson finished fourth in the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament.

Larson's fourth place came in the Division 1, 152-pound weight class.

Larson split the two matches he wrestled Saturday in the placing round at the Kohl Center, both of which went into overtime. He won the first 2-1 in over Branden Capetillo of Sheboygan South, which allowed him to wrestle for third place.

However, that afternoon, Larson lost the third place match to Tyler Harper of Racine William Horlick 3-1 as he gave up a takedown in the extra period.

Larson, a senior, has a 44-5 record. However, his season is not over nor the Hudson wrestling team as they will compete in the WIAA Team State Tournament next weekend in Madison.
