A letter to the editor penned by Laura Sutton and published in last week's Star-Observer contained incorrect information.
The writer suggested that Mark Pribonic and two others were somehow involved in the school board candidacy of Patricia German and implemented tactics to help her advance in the February primary. She also said that Pribonic had been involved with disruption of school board meetings, bullying board members and wasting time of school administrators and board members.
Sutton said Monday that she was "speculating" about the involvement and motives of Pribonic, Curt Weese and Marion Shaw when she wrote the letter.
The point of her letter was to oppose the school board candidacy of German. Involving the three men in the writer's argument was nothing more than speculation.
We regret publishing the letter as presented.
