Letter: Johnson is board choice
I first met Jamie Johnson 14 years ago. He convinced me to help co-teach a fifth-grade Sunday school class at Bethel Lutheran Church in Hudson. Since that time I've watched Jamie grow professionally at the Lommen-Abdo law firm. I have also witnessed his ability to lead in our church, Hudson Daybreak Rotary, plus head up the organization that makes possible the Hudson High School "SAFE" graduation party.
As I consider who to vote for during the school board primary election on Feb. 19, two words come to mind -- leadership and trust.
As parents we need to trust that our children are receiving the best possible education. As parents and taxpayers we need to trust that our team of educators is doing the best work possible. As wage earners, taxpayers, and those who live in Hudson on fixed incomes, we need to trust elected school board members with our hard earned money.
I have watched Jamie Johnson in action for the past 14 years as he has given back to this community. I ask you to recognize his leadership, trust in his decision making, and to vote for Jamie Johnson Feb. 19 in the school board primary election.
