Linda J. Asplund, 63";
Linda J. Asplund, age 63, of Rice Lake, died peacefully at home on Thursday, April 24.
Linda was born on Sept. 21, 1950, in Frederic, Wis. Her parents were Quentin and Jean (Walker) Weinzierl. She attended Tomah High School, graduating in 1969, and worked as a waitress.

She loved being with family, playing bingo, and shopping. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, never missing a game. Linda also enjoyed watching Westerns and TV game shows. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor.
Linda is survived by her son, Kenneth (Tami) Asplund, Rice Lake; grandson, Gunner Asplund, Rice Lake; her mother, Jean Weinzierl, New Richmond; her brother, Steven (Kelly) Weinzierl, Somerset; three sisters: Marilyn Salzmann, Hayward, Pamela (John) Cramer, Tomah, and Christine (Larry) Charbonneau, New Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Quentin; grandparents, Christian and Elizabeth Weinzierl, and Pearl Walker; nephew, Marty Rogstad; and great-niece, Cassie Cramer.
