Long-time Hudson resident marks 100 years
For a lifetime Will Savadge did not celebrate his birthdays. Finally last fall when he turned 100, he announced the truth to his closest friends.
In recent years, Savadge recovered from a broken neck and broken appendages when he tripped over the family cat. He recovered remarkably well, perhaps because age was never an issue for him. His daughter said, "We never celebrated dad's birthday."
Visiting Savadge last month are, Hudson area friends, clockwise from the lower left, Carol Marnell, Betty Goodwin, Wayne Haut, Jean Haut and Will Savadge.
