Man, 81, charged in child sex assault
An elderly Hudson man has been charged with repeated sexual assault of four young girls during a period of time more than a decade ago.
Le Roy Jennfeldt, 81, 868 Bradley Dr., Hudson, posted a $2,500 signature bond during a hearing Friday (March 26) on four felony counts of sexual assault of a child.
The criminal complaint alleged between 1996 and 2000 Jennfeldt had sexual contact the four pre-teen girls a number of times at his Hudson Residence. The incidents started after he moved to Hudson from the Janesville area following the death of his wife.
The four are sisters who are currently between 18 and 23-years-old. They told a St. Croix County Sheriff's investigator the sex abuse incidents began for one when she was five. Another said the incidents ended at age 12-13 when she reached puberty.
Jennfeldt was scheduled for an initial appearance May 20 before Judge Howard W. Cameron. The maximum penalty for conviction on each count is 40 years in prison.
