McCarthy may start yet another offensive line combo against Cowboys
The Packers have started five different groups on the offensive line this season.
And coach Mike McCarthy could start a sixth combination on Sunday against Dallas at Lambeau Field.
McCarthy would not be specific Monday. But he said it's possible that left tackles Chad Clifton and T.J. Lang could start together for the first time.
Lang may end up moving to the right tackle spot ahead Allen Barbre, who began the season there.
Veteran Mark Tauscher started at right tackle last Sunday at Tampa Bay, but he left in the third quarter with a sprained knee.
McCarthy says Tauscher will probably miss no more than a couple weeks.
The Packers continue to look for solutions to the quarterback sacks the line keeps giving up.
Aaron Rodgers has been sacked a league-high 37 times in eight games.
He was sacked a half-dozen times at Tampa, sometimes because Rodgers had nowhere to throw the ball.
McCarthy said the Packer receivers were challenged by the Buccaneers' secondary, even though he thought the Packers could exploit their defensive backs.
Meanwhile, tight end Jermichael Finley is considered 50-50 to play against the Cowboys. He'll test his injured knee this week.
