Menomonie man succumbs to injuries suffered in town of Cady rollover
A Menomonie man died Friday from injuries suffered a week earlier in a rollover accident in the town of Cady.
Robert B. Golden, 66, of Menomonie died Friday from injuries sustained when his 1986 Dodge van overturned about 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10th while traveling on CTH N near 325th Street in St. Croix County.
Golden was wearing his seat belt but had to be freed from the van by firefighters from Spring Valley and United fire departments. He was flown from the scene to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Mr. Golden's death represents the seventh traffic fatality of the year on St. Croix County roads.
Services are set for noon Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at the Rhiel Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph 's Cemetery, both in Menomonie.
The crash remains under investigation, according to a sheriff's department news release.
