Milwaukee Brewers end winless streak, try for two victories in a row
The Milwaukee Brewers can return to .500 with a victory Wednesday night over Texas at Miller Park. The Crew is 15-16 after beating the Rangers Tuesday night.
Milwaukee won 12 of 15 before going 1-5 so far in May. They're closing out a nine game home-stand in which they've gone 3-5 so far.
Texas leads the American League West at 20-13, but the Rangers have only played one team with a winning record this season. That was Boston, which the Rangers swept for three games last weekend. Texas has since lost two in a row.
Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun will try to extend his Interleague hitting streak to 30 games Wednesday night, and centerfielder Carlos Gomez will try to extend his overall hitting string to 14. Gomez has batted .449 during his current streak, including a two-run double against the Rangers Tuesday night. Right-hander Kyle Lohse will start for the Crew this evening against Texas southpaw Derek Holland.
