Minnesota Orchestra will give free concert in Hudson Monday night
The Minnesota Orchestra performs the 26th annual free outdoor concert at Lakefront Park Monday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m.
This acclaimed orchestra, under the direction of associate conductor Courtney Lewis, will perform a mix of well-loved popular and classical music. Selections will include “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Armed Forces Salute,” John Philip Sousa’s “El Capitan,” John Williams’s Theme from “Jurassic Park,” Hector Berlioz’s “Le Corsaire (The Pirate),” Dmitri Kabalevsky’s Overture to “Colas Breugnon,” Opus 24, Johann Strauss, Jr.’s “Emperor” Waltz, Opus 437, and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “1812,” Overture, Opus 49.
