Oil painting class
Beginners and Beyond: Oil Painting will be offered by River Falls artist and educator Dianne Ginsberg on four Fridays, Feb. 22 through March 22 (no class March 8), at The Phipps Center for the Arts.
This class is for the beginner as well as for those with some painting experience who want to grow. Participants will learn the basics of oil painting with guidance, demonstrations, and encouragement from the instructor in a relaxed studio setting. Students will gain knowledge in the painting techniques of composition, color, shading, and brush handling. The paints being used clean up and mix with water, yet behave like traditional oils. The class fee is $169, which includes all materials and supplies.
