More to be learned about Doyle's fundraising practices
You'll be hearing more this week about Gov. Jim Doyle's campaign fundraising practices from 2006.
The attorney general's office is expected to release 20,000 documents concerning allegations that he did favors for companies whose executives gave to his re-election bid.
Last week, Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen released about 450 pages of records showing no link between the sale of the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant and campaign gifts made by executives of one of the utilities which sold the plant.
Republicans tried to make a lot of hay over the allegations in the 2006 governor's race, which Doyle won.
The governor's campaign spokesman at the time, Anson Kaye, called the investigation a "colossal waste of time."
