The accident happened around 1 p.m.

The Wisconsin State Patrol, Hudson Police Department and St. Croix Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash of the Chevrolet Impala sedan.

One person is believed to have been taken to Hudson Hospital. It appeared that another vehicle also was involved in the accident.

The accident was one of four at that hour on I-94 between Woodbury, Minn., and Hudson.

Two others involved westbound vehicles that lost control in the slush while running in the left or fast lane, pulling them into the freeway median, striking delineators or guard rail in the process.
