The three town of Troy parcels are all part of the same development, said Planning and Zoning Committee Chairwoman Jan Zoerb. The property all lies along Coulee Trail and west of County Road U.

These are the parcels that were rezoned:

  • 135 acres owned by North Dakota State University in the town of Troy. The university received the land as a gift and is selling it, said Zoerb.

  • 83 acres owned by Leonard and Margaret DesLauriers in the town of Troy.

  • 69 acres owned by Ron and Helen Handlos in the town of Troy.

  • 65.5 acres owned by Lester Langness in the town of St. Joseph.

  • 130.5 acres owned by John and Georgine Schottler in the town of St. Joseph.

  • two acres owned by Ronald and Diane Beauvais in the town of Erin Prairie.

  • a little under an acre owned by Lynn and Nila Forrest in the town of Erin Prairie.
