Because Neff's treatments and other associated expenses are not covered by insurance, supporters are holding a benefit for the family at Trinity Lutheran Church and Academy, 1205 Sixth St., where the Neff children attend school. The event is scheduled for Saturday from 5-8 p.m. The evening will include a family-friendly dinner, raffles, activities for children, a bake sale, silent auction and more.

Neff, a former member of the Air National Guard, and her husband, Terry, have three children, Hannah, 7, Nathan, 5, and Lauren, 4, and have lived in Hudson for the past several years.

Financial contributions can be made at the event or sent to the Neff Family Fund at Eagle Valley Bank, 2501 Hanley Road, Hudson WI 54016. For more information, contact Bridget Relander, Neff's sister, at (715) 410-0516, or Naomi Salgado at (715) 426-3499.
