As a couple Victoria Sins and Adam Cybulski met while they were both attending UW-RF. Cybulski is a Lake Elmo native and Sins hails from Vadnais Heights. He graduated in 2001 with a degree in marketing and went on to establish a career in banking as a residential lender.
Sins spent 10 years as a spokesperson for a host of international companies including Audi, Nascar, various clothing manufacturers and many others. She completed her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2010 and was Ms. Minnesota in 2011. Cybulski moved to Hudson in 2004. After 10 years of traveling Sins was ready for a change and Cybulski wanted to keep helping people but not in banking.
They began an extensive two month remodeling effort to create a home for their new businesses.
"I liked the idea of running my own business," said Cybulski, who also has a real estate license. "You and sit down with your clients and talk about what they value and what they want to protect. It if rewarding when you know you made a difference for them."
"The number one thing people usually want to protect are their family photos," said Cybulski. "Then of course it is their important papers."
They offer life, auto, home and many specialty insurance program for boats, motorcycles, cabins and other items.
"We want to provide exceptional customer service," said Cybulski. "Farmers' does that."
Sins grew up with Farmers's Insurance. It was her parents company of choice.
"I love Farmers'," said Sins. "They have terrific programs to help the community such as M.I.L.K. which helps parents and police by digitally fingerprinting children. I want to stress that I want to be a part of the community and help with programs and events. We are going to be here a long time."
"We look at it all and make sure you have the right coverage and do you feel safe with it," said Cybulski.
"It is just awareness and trying to educate people."
"Insurance is an investment," said Sins. "It is the second or third most expensive item in a household budget."
An open house is planned for June 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will include music and grillmaster Damon Holter creating specialties with his signature Croix Valley Sauces.
"We just want to let people know we are here to help them," said Sins.
