Nordstrand offers office space to foundation, UW
The St. Croix Valley Community Foundation is used to working with people who are charitably minded, but they recently received a gift that was quite unusual and very, very welcome. They were offered new office space on Second Street in Hudson at a price they couldn't refuse.
Burt Nordstrand, owner of Burt Nordstrand Associates, has provided office space at a much-reduced rate in what was formerly the First National Bank office in the Opera House in Hudson. The St. Croix Valley Community Foundation is sharing the space with United Way St. Croix Valley, thus further reducing the cost of rent for both nonprofits.
The 3,200 square foot office suite was completely renovated by First National Bank just a few years ago, and was vacated when the bank was sold. The suite came with high-end furniture throughout, as well as carpeting and art work. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette that is used as a lunch room. In addition, there is a large conference/training room for board meetings and committee meetings.
