In addition to providing information about the organization and how to contact them, the site also contains HELP's detailed list of other resources available throughout Pierce and St. Croix counties.

According to Monica Weekes, president of HELP's board of directors, the site was made possible through a grant from the William H. Phipps Foundation. Help in creating the site was provided by the Resco Company of Hudson.

"People can now refer to the manual online or download it whenever they wish. We used to print copies and mail them out and had to charge for that service. But now with it online, the manual is free. We really want to get that information out to all of the agencies that are in the manual or anyone who thinks they can use the information in it," said Weekes.

The site also includes information on how to volunteer with Operation HELP, how to donate and about the annual Christmas campaign and clothing distribution.

In 2009 HELP provided 284 households with rent and utility assistance. Weekes said that number includes about 810 people, 177 under age 5, and 240 ages 6-17. Some 98 families were sponsored for Christmas and 113 families, representing about 403 people, "shopped" at the annual free fall clothing distribution.

Operation HELP's coordinator is Lori Halvorsen and along with Weekes, the board of directors includes Les Berg, Deanne Bauer, Jennie Boeder, Alan Parks, Jean Schneider, Arvid Ledin, Jennifer Lukas, Mary Ellner, Tammy Holland and Sam Nolan.
