Oshkosh woman charged relationship with 14-year-old
An Oshkosh woman claimed she was teaching her 13-year-old son to drive when they were pulled over for speeding May 11.
As it turns out, the boy was not the woman's son. Now, she's accused of having a sexual relationship with him.
Teresa Cantrall, 41, was charged Tuesday in Winnebago County with three felony counts of sexually assaulting a child.
The boy was caught driving 80 mph near Neenah with Cantrall as a passenger.
After their arrest, the boy reportedly told officers he and Cantrell had sexual intercourse 10 to 15 times since last August, mainly at her home.
The woman told investigators she met the boy two years ago, and chatted with him at least twice a week, including online.
She said the boy's parents tried to get a restraining order against her, but the youngster kept sneaking out to see her.
Cantrall told officers she had sex with him about eight times.
She's due back in court next Monday, when a judge will decide if there's enough evidence to order a trial.
At last word, Cantrall was jailed under a $5,000 cash bond.
