MADISON - Hudson's Tanner Owens was just one and done at last year's WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament. This time around Owens will be on the awards stand.

Owens was dominant in his two consolation round matches he won Friday morning to advance to the placement matches Saturday morning in Divison 1 at 160 pounds.

Owens first dispatched of Nicolet's Wilhelm Fahlhaber by a 13-4 major decison and then majored Travis VandenHuevel of Kaukauna by a 13-3 score.

Owens will do no worse than sixth place and can reach as high as third is he wins his two matches Saturday.

Hudson's Kolya Hakwsford will wrestle this evening in the semifinals at 152 pounds against Hartford's Nick Becker.
