Packers invite fans to Lambeau for NFL draft
The Green Bay Packers are making their final preparations for this week's NFL draft, which will begin Thursday night.
Green Bay will select 26th in the first round, with subsequent overall selections at 55, 88, 122, 159, 167, 193 and 232.
Former Packers linebacker Dave Robinson, who was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in February, will announce the team's second and third-round selections from the podium in New York City.
The Packers are inviting fans to come to Lambeau Field for the draft. Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, General Manager Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy will be appearing at the event. The event is free to the public will be first-come, first-served.
Activities will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday. The team says that Curly's Pub will feature Wi-Fi Internet access allowing fans to bring wireless-enabled laptops to follow along with the activities around the league.
