New Richmond girl, 14, charged with attempted homicide

Packers player appears in court

Packers' defensive end Johnny Jolly made his first court appearance in Houston Dec. 22 on a renewed felony drug possession charge. He posted a 10-thousand dollar bond upon returning to his home-town yesterday. The 26-year-old Jolly is accused of illegally possessing over 200 grams of codeine. He and several others were stopped in a vehicle in Houston a year-and-a-half ago, and Jolly continues to maintain his innocence. A grand jury indicted him for a second time last week. Jolly's first charge was dropped in July, because police lab technicians were not proficient yet with new equipment that measures codeine.
