Pharmacist Dick Newberg retires

Longtime Hudson pharmacist Richard Newberg retired from his position at Micklesen's Drug Store, 530 Second St., last week. An open house was held for Newberg on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 2, at the business.

Newberg, 78, retires after 53 years of practicing pharmacy, including the last 37 years at Micklesen's. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Newberg interned for a year in Barron and was later employed at Lee Drug Store in Menomonie for 15 years.
