The St. Paul Police Band will be performing on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. at Lakefront Park in Hudson. The repertoire will consist of marches, medleys, and familiar tunes. The Saint Paul Police Band was formed in 1923 by a trio of St. Paul police officers. The band performs in several concerts throughout the St. Paul metropolitan area and in ceremonial events for the St. Paul Police Department annually. The band also marches in a number of regional community festival parades throughout the year. Membership consists of both law enforcement officers and volunteers who enjoy representing the city of St. Paul and St. Paul Police Department. The band rehearses regularly between October through May at Harding High School, located on St. Paul's East Side. For more information, contact Stephanie C. Batt at stpaul.policeband@gmail.com or call (952) 935-4052.
