Racial slurs ignite dike fight
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

A fight that included racial slurs and the threat of a gun ended in the arrest of three men at the end of the dike road in Lakefront Park Sunday night.

According to Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen, police responded to a call around 7 p.m. involving a group of Caucasian men who were harassing a group of African American men, using the "n" word among other things.

Jensen said according to witnesses one or more of the white men threw the first punches and also threatened that they had a gun in one of their coolers.

When police arrived, three of the white men were taken into custody. No weapon was found.
