After getting nipped by Minneapolis, 3-2, on a late goal in the tournament opener, the Raider boys' hockey team posted back-to-back 4-1 victories over Luverne and Marshall to win the consolation championship of the Open Division at the 2012 Schwan Cup last week in Blaine, Minn.

The Raiders' 2-1 tournament record put them in a tie with Somerset and Bloomington Kennedy in the final standings. Minneapolis went on to win the tourney title with a 3-0 record.
