Raider girls can't get past top seed in soccer playoffs

The fourth-seeded Raider girls soccer team ran into a buzz saw in the form of No. 1 seed D.C. Everest in their WIAA Division 1 regional final last Saturday in Wausau and dropped a 5-0 decision to the Evergreens to end the season with a record of 18-3-1.

The Raiders advanced to the regional final with a 2-1 double overtime victory over Wausau West last Thursday at the middle school field.
