"We lost 118 to 68, but we had some good swims, though," said Coach Dick Clark. "Catie Weese had personal bests, in the 100 yard freestyle in 57.68 and the 50 yard freestyle in 26.44. Noey Anderson also had a PB in the 100 backstroke of 105.48." Weese won the 100 freestyle by one-fifth second and was runner-up in the 50 freestyle by one second. Anderson also was a runner-up, by 0.36 seconds.

Chella Bhagyam also took a pair of firsts, in the 200 freestyle by one-tenth second with a 2:05.40, and in the 500 freestyle by a much larger margin with a 5:51.77. In the latter race, the Raiders made it a 1-2 finish, as Shannon Grayes was runner-up with 6:00.26.

Other second places were by Melly Meyer in the 100 breaststroke with 1:17.69, the 200 medley relay team of Anderson, Meyer, Bhagyam and Weese with 2:00.26, and the 400 freestyle relay team of Anderson, Nicely, Bhagyam and Weese with 3:56.40.

Individual third places were by Nicely in the 200 freestyle with 2:11.41, and Meyer in the 200 IM with 2:31.01.

"Our next action is the Big Rivers Conference meet in River Falls later this week," Clark said. The BRC meet is Saturday, Nov. 1 beginning at 10 a.m.
