Hudson defeated Chippewa Falls 91-79 Thursday, Jan. 10, and topped Rice Lake, 90-48, last Thursday, Jan. 17, before finishing second to BRC leader and second-ranked Eau Claire Memorial/North Jan. 19 at the Husky Invite.

All three Raider relay teams earned top four finishes in Eau Claire, with the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relays both placing second.

One week earlier at Chippewa Falls, the Raiders won the first seven events but needed a strong effort in the final event -- the 400 freestyle relay -- to beat the Cardinals for the first time in six years, 91-79.

Hudson was clinging to an 81-75 lead going into the 400 free relay before picking up ten points with first and third place finishes to seal the victory.

Next up for the team are several out of town meets, starting Thursday, Jan. 24 at Menomonie, then on Saturday, Jan. 26 they travel to Buffalo, MN for an invitational meet against Buffalo, Shakopee, and Fargo North schools. The BRC tournament will be held the following Saturday, Feb. 2 at River Falls.
