Raiders blank Chanhassen for second straight win

Quarterback John Uchytil ran for two touchdowns and Braden Marvin, Dayton Diemel and Nick Holm rushed for a touchdown apiece as the Hudson Raiders shut out Chanhassen, Minn. for the second straight year, 36-0, to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Raiders rushed for 451 yards, led by Marvin, who carried the ball eight times for 132 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown run on the Raiders’ opening drive.

Uchytil scored from five yards out early in the second quarter and Kristian Bell booted a 30-yard field goal before Diemel added a seven-yard touchdown run just before halftime to stake Hudson to a 24-0 lead.

Uchytil’s second touchdown of the game cane on an 18-yard run late in the third quarter before Holm closed out the scoring from a yard out with 8:32 remaining.
