There was plenty of hype surrounding Friday night’s battle for the Big Rivers Conference football title between Hudson and Menomonie at Newton Field. And the game lived up to expectations.

Landry Otten’s second touchdown pass of the game to Jake Giordana late in the third quarter gave Hudson a 14-10 lead, and Wade Malecha ran for a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns as the Raiders won their second straight undisputed conference title with a 28-10 victory over the Mustangs.
