Rain drenches northern Wisconsin; Meth cases surge again in this area; more state news briefs

Far northwest Wisconsin is getting pounded with torrential rains.

The National Weather Service said 2-4 inches fell in parts of Washburn, Sawyer and Price counties by 4:45 a.m.
