Rallying the volunteers
Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wisconsin, speaks to a group of volunteers at the Obama campaign office, 522 Second St., in Hudson on Sunday.
The senator stopped by to encourage Obama supporters who were training for a get-out-the-vote effort that is in operation until the Nov. 4 election.
Feingold related how he won his first race for a seat in the Wisconsin Senate by 47 votes.
He was one of 25 U.S. senators who voted against the Wall Street rescue package recently approved by Congress and signed into law by President Bush.
Alison Page, left, Democratic candidate to represent the Wisconsin Senate's 10th District, and Sarah Bruch, candidate for the 30th District Assembly seat, also received support from Feingold.
