Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wisconsin, speaks to a group of volunteers at the Obama campaign office, 522 Second St., in Hudson on Sunday.

The senator stopped by to encourage Obama supporters who were training for a get-out-the-vote effort that is in operation until the Nov. 4 election.

Feingold related how he won his first race for a seat in the Wisconsin Senate by 47 votes.
