Reed Grimm moves on in American Idol competition
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

As the field of contestants continues to narrow on the national television show American Idol, area contestant Reed Grimm passed another hurtle this week.

Wednesday evening his mother Colleen Raye, along with nearly 50 other supporters including relatives, friends and co-workers watched as him performed his single number.

Reed chose to sing a song from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Next week comes the group competition in which contestants must form groups with four or five fellow contestants. They have one night to rehearse. Stay tuned to see if Grimm makes it through next week.
