Richard Edward Detlefsen, 74";
Richard Edward Detlefsen, age 74, of Franklin, W.V., formerly of Hudson, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the home of his son, Mark.
He was born on June 27, 1939, in Hudson, the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Anderson) Detlefsen. He was married to Nancy Ann Hammill.
Mr. Detlefsen attended Hudson High School and the University of Wisconsin in River Falls, Wis. He worked as a Computer Programmer for 10 years at Sperry Univac and he was the Owner/Operator of Flambeau Forest Inn in Winter, Wis. for 10 years. Mr. Detlefsen was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and had served for 6 years. He was active with Habitat for Humanity, and he loved cooking and baking.
Mr. Detlefsen is survived by: a daughter, Beth Ann Nesbitt, and husband Greg of Charlotte, N.C.; three sons, Craig Stephen Detlefsen of Dania Beach, Fla., Mark Edward Detlefsen of Franklin, and Kevin Michael Detlefsen, and wife Connie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters Dorothy Olson of Hudson, Wis., Betty Livermore of Hudson, Wis., and Ruth Poss of Hudson, Wis.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Heffron.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hudson, Wis.
